Discovering the charms of the small seaside town of La Manzanilla and experiencing the superb comforts of Casa de Alegria was perhaps a little conflicting.  Some may prefer to keep the long walking beach, the warm safe ocean, and the charming restaurants a secret?  However, staying at the Casa de Alegria is an experience to be shared, a perfect place to relax and luxuriate, as we did, in such a beautifully appointed Mexican home, with its beautiful garden and private dipping pool and unmatched view.

Dining out may be an option as there are several authentic restaurants to select from.  Buying fresh shrimp and with a cool margarita in hand while preparing a quiet sunset dinner on our flower scented terrace was our favorite evening.
