Luxury in La Manzanilla:  

We were fortunate to stay a few days in this Mexican villa following a cycling trip to the area.  The home is set up with 3 separate self contained areas - each very private from the others.  We were in the Upper Terrace Suite which offered lots of outdoor living space and had panoramic views of the ocean and neighboring valley.  All apartments were exquisitely furnished and fitted out with all the required appliances - right down to the blender for the margaritas!  Sunsets were spectacular!!   The swimming was very safe and uncrowded. We enjoyed several walks along the beach which runs a couple of kilometers north from town. The village is quaint with excellent restaurants.  The town of Melaque is about 14 km away - an easy drive, or a very short and inexpensive bus ride. All in All -  wonderful experience!!

Wayne and I had the most magical time at your Mexican home.  As you know, I am an interior designer and could not be more impressed with the amazing retreat you have created with authentic architecture and artifacts. I particularly loved the top terrace with the beautiful view of the ocean and jungle before us, margaritas on the balcony and the bustle of the village below. My favorite place to stay was the top bedroom with the open air shower.  Can't do that at home!  Your little village has not been ruined by too many tourists and offers up some great food.  Before I forget the beach; quiet and in a bay so we could swim and float the afternoon away.  I would definitely recommend your little oasis on the hillside to anyone who truly appreciates a place with all the comforts of home complete with Carmelita, the resident dog, in the midst of a Mexican village.  Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation.
