Storm Douglas aka "Storm Dooglas" blew through La Manzanilla area leaving a lot of people to sop up water, sand, and mud.  While, we at Casa del Viento only suffered a few broken windows, smashed potted palm trees, some broken ornaments and outdoor lighting fixtures, the waves crashed onto the streets of the village leaving fishermen to drag their boats to safety and some homeowners and storeowners to clean up after Douglas.
